Katie and Thomas...

were so incredibly nice to work with, not to mention extremely beautiful to photograph! I love the way Katie's bouquet photographed (sorry guys--I think I have about 15 different images with it), they had an awesome antique car, and I am just really excited with how their photos turned out. Don't worry about a little rain on a wedding day--we had some but they still turned out absolutely beautiful!

Becky and Cory

What a beautiful day for a wedding-- and this time we were on the Wisconsin side of a Lake Michigan! Becky and Cory were so cute, and so nice, and had the best wedding dance off at the reception that I've ever seen!

Adam

I don't do a lot of seniors, but this month I'll have several. Adam is the first, and this one has a special place because I used to take care of Adam when he was a wee lad. I have a ton of great memories from my time in La Crosse with the Shaw family--love you guys!

Newbie Superstar

This is Jenny. She is now the official second shooter for any Michigan weddings. I have never seen anyone start with so much talent as she has! She has a great eye for details and a very creative way of shooting. Plus, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I am so pumped to have her on board--I wish I would have thought of this sooner!

Beth and Luke in MKE

Okay, sorry for the airport code in the title there, but my brother used to work for Delta airlines (yes, he was the guy responsible for losing your luggage) and I still like to whip those out once in a while ; ) Milwaukee made a beautiful backdrop for this engagement shoot-I am really excited about these. Beth and Luke will have a winter wedding in just a few months. I'm hoping for snow!

This girl needs to be a model--who knows how to pose like this?! And doesn't the little flower girl have the prettiest eyes you have ever seen? I love beach shots and these two have some BEAUTIFUL ones.

Better Days

This cute little photo is my two puppies in their Halloween costumes from last year--yes, they are spoiled beyond repair and barely recognizable as puppies, but more as actual children. Today, Tubbins wasn't looking quite this cute--just wanted to share that I got to spend a good portion of the day consoling the little peanut and rushing her to the vet as she developed some pretty un-fun gi tract issues for me to deal with! Not that I had any editing to worry about...but the little peanuts are worth it! Who else would I have to dress up like this?!

Jennifer and Beau (and Jett)

First of all, let me clarify that despite my void of new blog entries, I am indeed alive. But let me say, one 3 credit grad course, 9 weddings the last two months, an oodle of engagement shoots, orders, a new lab, a new online posting company, and I am just a tad behind!

Jennifer and Beau were married July 15--so I'm not THAT far behind ; ) -- in a beautiful outdoor ceremony over in Eau Claire. They are both teachers--yay for teachers! I don't know what the deal is this year, but my weddings have rocked! They have all been so beautiful--it's been fun shooting with such great people who all seem to have phenomenal taste! And their little boy Jett is such a cutie--he's the one walking with his mom ; )
