Emily and Rob
Ohhh, do I love the Cole (and Summer) families! This is the second time I was lucky enough to work with them--I did sister Angie's wedding a couple of years ago and now she is expecting her first baby. These people really know how to plan an event. Everything was just perfect--I guess it's because of the charmed life of Emily from what I hear ; ) Emily had a theme of peacock feathers-in the girls' hair, on the chairs, in the flower bouquets, and I thought it was absolutely fabulous. I love creative stuff like that. And they had the best chocolate caramel corn I have ever had (if any of you Cole or Summer family members are reading this, let me know where you got it!). Jenny was my Michigan second shooter and she did a great job as always! My favorite shots of the day were Emily posed by the beautiful window.

Rachelle
Seniors are back in session! I photographed Rachelle's brother a few years ago, and both at their dad's house which is absolutely beautiful. As we were finishing up at the park, some guy yelled out his window about Rachelle posing for Playboy next! Good gracious--she's a cutie but she's also a minor!!!

Amy and Eric
Lovely people, one of my favorite reception places (Homestead Meadows), great wine, the best cozy atmosphere...and some of the trickiest weather we've had in a very long time!!! A little bit of sun, some pouring rain, some clouds...the weather really couldn't make up its mind, but we were able to squeeze in some great outdoor shots. Eric is from Canada, and they came back from New York for a Wisconsin wedding--of course it had to be on a farm! Amy and Eric even played a song together right before their first dance, on violin and guitar while Eric sang-it was so unique. These two really seem to fit together...kind of like peas and carrots ; )

Hiring?
If any of you blog readers have any know-how about Photoshop and would want some work from me this summer, I am looking for some behind-the-scenes help because I have lots and lots of weddings for one girl to handle. Email me if Photoshop is a good friend of yours and you think you might be interested : )

Stefanie and Corey
The Paine Arts Center in Oshkosh is my absolute favorite place to photograph, so thank you Stef and Corey for having your wedding there! Although the sun made it a little tricky, shooting there was awesome. Stef and Corey had GREAT taste--the earrings, the dress (check out her back!), the tan suits, the colorful flowers--they pulled everything together perfectly. The "Coach" colors looked great! Again, I had a fantastic group of people to work with, and I'm sad it's over! They had warned me about their wedding party being rowdy, but I thought they were a piece of cake, very fun, and all very cute ; )

Julia and Tony
Ahh, the wedding season has kicked into full gear and I am feeling it. After spending two days sorting out my new computer and dealing with all of the problems I created trying to get it up and running, I am back to the editing grind stone. Let me do a plug for Apple and say they make the best computers and have the best customer service for people when they mess up ; ) Even though the blog has been a little dry lately, keep watching now for new updates and lots of photos.
Julia and Tony came back to Wisconsin to get married, and they had the perfect Wisconsin day for it. They had a beautiful church, we made a stop at Lawrence Chapel, and did some more photography out on the golf course at Bridgewood since they are both golfers. Julia and Tony kissed at dinner to raise money to fight Autism, had a caricature artist to entertain their guests during the reception, and planned an all around beautiful day. I get so lucky with the people who book me--Julia and Tony couldn't have been any nicer or easier to photograph!
Let me also note that Sherry was my second shooter at this wedding and she did a great job. But what I really wanted to say was that she was so excited at the reception to find that each table had their own wedding cake, and there were only 4 people sitting at our table so she got A LOT of cake ; )
