are getting married next year, so we just did their engagement session (half outside, half in studio) It was the day after Thanksgiving, and cold. Andrea had just finished a 60 mile walk to raise money for breast cancer research. And she walked those 60 miles herself over the course of 3 days--now that is great feat.
Caryn is a fourth grade teacher and was very brave, in my opinion, to choose a wedding date during the beginning of the school year. Despite that, Caryn and Ben's wedding was one of the most spectacular I have seen. There was not a single dull moment, from all the food (cocktails, h'dourves, dinner, chocolate fountains, cake, midnight pizza) to all of the entertainment (Caryn and Ben performed a dance and a musical number-she sings and he plays trombone in the bad). Soooo much fun to have been a guest at this wedding!
This wedding had just about the most perfect Fall weather one could hope for. And although this one was a five hour drive for us, it was one of the best places I've been to. If you haven't been, you've got to check out the Tagalong Resort in Birchwood--great food, great rooms, on the lake, golf...the list goes on. Suzy is the kind of girl you feel like you've been friends with forever, even if you've just met her. Her and Brian met at the Tagalong Resort and came all the way from Florida to get married there! It was a blast.
