Ana and Derrick live in Cabo and publish a magazine there called Noche. But they came back to good old Wisconsin from Mexico to get married--much thanks for that from this photographer!!! These two were had such a fantastic fit with one another--they were natural, intimate, relaxed, beautiful, poised. Let me just say that I didn't want to pick just 5 photos, so they get two blogs!
I met Zoe when I photographed her sister's wedding this past January. Zoe made the trip from Marshfield for her senior photos. I love her original style and I was really excited to be working with her family again! But I am am little concerned--she likes photography and I might be in for some more competition in a few years ; )
Taylor is a karate and wake boarding superstar ; ) She ALSO did a great job with her senior pics. My personal favs are the sunglass photos--what a cutie!
It's 1:22 AM, and I have been editing like crazy. And since I don't have any other images quite ready to post, I have decided to end my night and discuss my recent found fun of self-portraiting. This weekend I did a wedding for my dear friend from high school, Scottie G and his Celia. So I got to be the photographer and a guest, which was a little crazy but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. And since my camera was out a little longer than usual, I had plenty of time to experiment.
Okay, so if you have known me over the last year, you know that I have been a little obsessed with the Oprah show. It all started with the acquisition of Tivo, and beyond that I can't really explain the obsession ; ) So anyways, I am ALWAYS checking for last minute reservations and I got them! So my friends Amy and Melissa and I are off to the Wednesday afternoon taping! We are hoping for an awesome prize, but we will see!
Some boys are lucky enough to have sisters ; ) At least I know my brothers feel lucky to have ME for a sister--no smart comments allowed from either of you Jamin and Jordan! This is Mike and HIS sister Lainee...
Okay, so Mike wasn't one of those seniors who spends the summer plotting out the clothes he's going to wear and what poses he wants for his senior photos. So I TRIED to make the relatively painless for him ; ) I'm not sure if I succeeded on that, but we did get some great photos!
This girly girl was SO FUN to photograph--how could it not be with that cute haircut, those beautiful blue eyes, and such great taste in attire!? I think she might have enough senior photographs to choose from to do a wedding sized album!!!
Welcome to SENIORS WEEK! It must be the fact that school is starting TODAY that would explain all the seniors I got to do this week. I kicked it off with Zac and his very big puppy, which was great because I love dogs!!! I didn't have any benches big enough to hold him, so they got stuck on the floor ; ) I also just love this guy's hair and the red shoes!
